Look I’m not going to complain but after returning from a 5 year absence I am split on CCP’s push toward just non-stop ship destruction, slowly pushing any sense of non-PvP play out the window with little room (it seems) for any other type of gameplay. Eve used to allow the player to choose how they wished to play, but events like this are just forcing players down a single road of play style. PvP or don’t play.
Ironically Null is now the safer place in Eve than High sec. Join a corp, and stay within your corp/alliances territory and you can choose your own content and play style without being forced in to combat.
I’m enjoying my time back in New Eden, but personally I’m not impressed with CCP’s direction for the game since returning. However financials for CCP seem to prove me wrong and player numbers do as well but I hope to see some balance brought back to New Eden for other game play styles.

The picture of the two ships coming together reminds me of RockyIV were two gloves hit on the trailer.
Btw I purchased a Navy Issue Battlecruiser and I challenged @Uriel_the_Flame for a 1v1 same ship class.

This is like complaining the weather channel is reporting snow during winter. It’s their job, and it’s not always snowing during winter. If you don’t want economic analysis on an MER, then don’t read it.
